Professor Victor Zevallos completed his doctorate degree at King’s College London, worked at various research institutes in Europe/North America and held faculty positions in England before being appointed as Professor of Nutritional Sciences and Microbiome and head of department at Karl Landsteiner University, Austria.
His research focuses on the interplay between nutrition, the immune system, and the microbiome, particularly in the context of inflammatory and autoimmune diseases, where the goal is to improve the quality of life for patients by understanding the role of diet in disease development and prevention.
